All of Collier and Lee County are in flood zones. Homeowners, Condo-owners, and renters policies do not cover flood insurance. In order to be covered you will need a flood insurance policy. We offer flood insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program and We do have Private Flood Carriers as well. There is a 30 day waiting period to purchase flood insurance on the NFIP. While The private flood can be purchased Don't wait until the summer rains or hurricane approaches. If you are purchasing a home with a bank mortgage the 30 day waiting period can be waived provided that the mortgage company requires flood insurance.
